Children Center
The nonprofit Children’s Center provides quality, family-focused services for children; specializes in meeting the developmental needs of children with special needs by offering programs that encourage individual growth and development; provides support for their families; and promotes the inclusion of all children in the community.

MaineCare
Formerly the Bureau of Medical Services, MaineCare was created to administer the Department’s major health care financing programs and health care benefits. MaineCare Services coordinates the programs and benefits, assures that they operate under consistent policy in keeping with the Department’s goals and Federal mandates, and provides accountability necessary to determine that they are administered in an effective and efficient manner.

A statewide family support organization that promotes individual aspirations for all people through information, education, and advocacy.
Maine Parent Federation / SPIN
The SPIN staff have experience as parents of children with disabilities. They can answer requests for information or help parents find the answers to more complex problems. SPIN also collaborates with parent organizations, state agencies and other groups in Maine to expand opportunities available to families.
Penquis CAP
We assist individuals and families in preventing, reducing or eliminating poverty in their lives and, through partnerships, engage the community in addressing economic and social needs.
