The Neonatal Follow-Up Clinic monitors your baby's progress and can refer you to services in your area. You may contact us directly or be referred by your physician.
Your baby may be considered at risk for developmental problems if he or she:
- Weighed less than 3.5 pounds at birth
- Was born with a birth defect
- Had an injury, infection or nervous system disorder at birth or soon thereafter
- Had trouble feeding
- Has trouble seeing or hearing
- Has other conditions for which your doctor recommends further care
We provide:
- Developmental screening
- Early diagnosis of conditions that affect the development
- Family education and support for your child's needs
- Contact with support services in your community
- Home visits as needed
