Pediatric Pulmonology

What is pediatric pulmonology?

Pediatric pulmonology evaluates and treats conditions of the lungs and respiratory tract in infants, children, and adolescents. A child may be referred to a pediatric pulmonologist to learn more about their condition or to get special treatment for their respiratory symptoms or condition.

Our services

Our team provides the following pediatric pulomonary medicine services:

  • Flexible bronchoscopy
  • Genetic analysis for complex cystic fibrosis patients
  • Pulmonary function testing
  • Sweat testing

Our clinical nurse specialists are actively involved in patient and family education and coordinating care in pediatric pulmonary medicine.

Our cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy, and general pulmonology clinics specialize in helping children manage debilitating illnesses.

We coordinate your child's care by working closely with the New Hampshire Cystic Fibrosis Center and the Muscular Dystrophy Association Clinic.

Our team of pediatric pulmonologists diagnoses and treats a wide range of pediatric respiratory conditions. These include:

What to expect at your appointment

To prepare for your first pediatric pulmonology visit, ask your child’s primary care physician or referring provider what to expect during the appointment. In general, you should be ready to discuss your child’s medical history, family medical history, and any current medications your child is taking.
