- The bike helmet should be positioned so that no more than one or two fingers fit above the eyebrows.
- If the helmet is too far forward, vision will be obstructed; too far back leaves the forehead exposed to injury.
- Helmet straps should form a "V" shape under the ears to keep it securely in place, especially in a fall.
- After adjusting the helmet’s position and straps, perform a head shake test to ensure the helmet stays firmly in place with no excessive movement.
- The helmet’s fit can be fine-tuned with a rear turnbuckle to tighten or loosen as needed for security and comfort.
