The majority of unintentional injuries can be prevented!

Our focus is on prevention

Many injuries and deaths are preventable—and every child in New Hampshire deserves to grow up safe and free from harm.

Safe Kids New Hampshire (SKNH) is a collaborative coalition united by a shared mission: protecting children from preventable injuries. Our quarterly meetings bring together professionals, advocates, and community members from across the state to exchange knowledge, promote education, and drive coordinated efforts to reduce accidental and unintentional injuries—leading causes of death among children under 19.

As a proud member of Safe Kids Worldwide, SKNH is part of a global network dedicated to child safety. Founded in the 1990s with Dartmouth Health Children’s as the lead organization, we continue to champion injury prevention through partnership, innovation, and community engagement. We partner with Safe Kids VT.
