The Medical Genetics Department provides testing, care, and genetic counseling for children and adults who have, or may have, a genetic condition. Our specialists use advanced testing to find risks, plan long-term care, and create personalized treatment plans for rare and inherited diseases. All genetic counseling and testing services take place in a private setting.

Our team is comprised of board-certified medical geneticists and licensed genetic counselors. We work closely with specialists throughout our system, including Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pathology, and the Dartmouth Cancer Center. Our relationships with other departments ensure that you and your family receive comprehensive and coordinated care at all times.
