Receiving an annual flu shot is the best way to protect you and your family from the flu. For the strongest protection:
Children 6 months and older should get the flu vaccination each fall.
Anyone who spends time with young children should also receive the vaccine. This includes caregivers and mothers who are breast feeding.
To avoid spreading the flu:
Wash your hands frequently
Use hand sanitizer
Stay home when you're sick
