The Pediatric Lipid and Weight Management Center is the only center of its kind in the region. The program team members offer expertise in the evaluation and management of children with familial hyperlipidemia or complicated obesity, and treatment of cholesterol and weight management concerns.

In addition to our clinical care, we offer a design to promote healthy communities, support obesity prevention and treatment in primary care. The program also centers research efforts on the prevention and treatment of childhood obesity.

Our team
Our multi-disciplinary team is made up of physicians, nurse practitioners, dietitians, health coaches, and youth fitness trainers. Their expertise supports weight management lifestyle change. The Center has access to pediatric sub-specialists Endocrinology, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Nephrology, and Psychiatry to help with management of complex care.
