CHaD Ambassadors give a face and heart to our children’s hospital.
CHaD Ambassadors are an inspired group of patients and their families who share their stories, support our causes and make lasting friendships. We welcome all patients and their families.
Ambassadors raise awareness of our programs and services and share their importance to the well-being of children in our communities.
Ambassadors participate in meaningful ways to show their support of the care and compassion they experience. Ambassadors are our guests of honor, speak on our behalf, attend our hosted fundraising events and more. There are many ways to get involved. Join us for opportunities that are fun and comfortable for you!
Most fun time ever, especially talking with other families about Mayra’s accomplishments in overcoming her many medical obstacles.Jessica, CHaD Ambassador mom
There are no time requirements, no fundraising requirements, and no age limits for participating in the CHaD Ambassador Program. We are grateful for any time you choose to spend, and any funds you choose to raise, on behalf of CHaD!
Here are some ways our Ambassadors advocate for us:
- Be a Buddy: Inspire and cheer on people who are fundraising for us.
- Share your Dartmouth Health Children's story to raise awareness of our good work.
- Attend a meet and greet with our community partners.
- Create your own fundraiser to support us through our Hearts in Action fundraising platform: visit our Hearts in Action website for fundraising ideas and resources.
- Receive our quarterly CHaD Ambassador newsletter with information on upcoming events and resources.
- Be featured in our monthly Ambassador Spotlight on Facebook and Instagram.
My journey with CHaD started when I was diagnosed with leukemia. After I finished my treatment I decided to join the Ambassador Program. As a CHaD Ambassador I am able to share my story at events on behalf of the incredible staff and hospital that helped me through my treatment.Renée, CHaD Ambassador
CHaD Buddies are CHaD Ambassadors with a special mission—to cheer on people who are fundraising for us.
We have buddy opportunities at CHaD Battle of the Badges Hockey and CHaD Battle of the Badges Baseball. Buddies may be paired with fundraising participants, can join in pre-game high-fives, intermission activities and post-game celebrations on the field or on the ice!
