During your child's appointments, he or she can receive a full medical examination, and you can consult with specialists on our team to determine the best treatment for your child's condition. Some of the tests we may perform include genetic (blood) tests and skin biopsies.
Our team can help determine whether your child would benefit from medication, a modified diet, or other treatments. Sometimes, surgery is the best answer.
Surgical treatments
Our surgical services include removal of a wide range of growths, such as acquired and congenital pigmented nevi, cysts and sebaceous nevi. We pay special attention to your child's age and provide appropriate support for that age level.
We work in tandem with the Child Life Program to ensure that your child has the support he or she needs, and that all staff has special training in caring for children with dermatology issues. If your child requires anesthesia, we will work closely with the PainFree Program.
