Pediatric Audiology

Audiology is the branch of science dedicated to the study of the hearing (auditory) and balance (vestibular) systems and their related disorders.

The Pediatric Audiology Program offers a range of tests to determine a child's hearing status.

For a child with hearing loss, we help find the best therapy or devices to help improve his or her access to sound. We work in partnership with families, educators, and other health care and agency providers to encourage the best possible communication development for children with hearing loss.

An educational consultant is part of your child's hearing care team. The educational consultant helps to ensure that everyone communicates and stays informed to support your child's unique educational needs.

We work closely with specialists in Otolaryngology and Otology in evaluation and monitoring of hearing in patients with ear health issues (for example, middle ear infections/fluid).
