Applying Sunscreen to Kids

Sunscreen works best when applied generously, 30 minutes before sun and reapplied every 2 hours.

  • Proper application of sunscreen is essential for effective protection.
  • Adults need to use 1 to 2 ounces of sunscreen to cover their entire body adequately.
  • Sunscreen should be reapplied every two hours, or immediately after swimming or toweling off.
  • Apply sunscreen at least 30 minutes before sun exposure to allow it to absorb and become effective.
